No One Fucking Asked For This

This series of paintings cover the topic of the news of late 2025 to early 2026. The articles featured in each painting cover many different topics, but all of them cover an overall theme that expresses anger that I feel: artificial intelligence. AI’s affect on the world worded from journalists across America express major concern over how it is actively destroying our environment and increasing our energy bills. Another sharing how Grok and X users are exploiting this AI to unclothe minors. More also show how it is being used as propaganda for the Iran War. Not only is it destroying the Earth and girls lives, there are also articles about how tech companies are laying off the very people that helped build their reputation by replacing them with AI. Not only is this happening in 2026, I also include a quote from a former boss of mine that was in a Fortune 500 company that “you better expand your skills or AI will replace your job”. These paintings are a collage with gouache and paint markers. They are meant to be viewed individually as well as an animation.
